Highlights: Summary: The Vice President, Chief Operations Officer shall provide executive leadership for the hospital’s daily operations, to ensure service excellence, high-quality clinical outcomes, and strong financial performance. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the COO will translate organizational strategy into operational execution while maintaining a relentless focus on quality, efficiency, and accountability. Through a collaborative, respectful, and results-driven leadership style, the COO will ensure the hospital has effective operational controls, administrative infrastructure, performance reporting, and talent systems in place to support growth, operational excellence, and long-term financial sustainability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years progressive experience in health care leadership experience, including at least 2 years in a senior management role.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in an acute care environment, including productivity improvement, cost management, program development, and quality performance initiatives strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with the capacity to present complex information clearly and engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong team leadership skills, strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
  • Ability to develop trust with leaders in the organizations.
  • Ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, proficient computer skills, proven track record of successful performance, and demonstrated effective utilization of process.
  • Ability to understand complex multifactor situations and bring appropriate solutions.
  • Strong understanding of organization dynamics and proficient at planning and organizing system-wide strategies.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Active clinical licensure strongly preferred
