Job Summary The Chief of Staff serves as a strategic partner to the Chief Operating Officer, ensuring alignment between executive priorities and day-to-day execution across the organization. This role acts as a force multiplier for the CEO, driving clarity, accountability, and momentum on the company’s most critical initiatives while supporting effective communication, governance, and leadership operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Significant experience in operations, project management, or executive support roles
  • Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership in complex, operationally driven environments
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism

Nice To Haves

  • Masters of Business Administration
  • Experience in construction, industrial services, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive, multi-site organizations
  • Experience in high-growth, acquisition-driven environments, including integration leadership
  • Experience working with private equity, closely held ownership structures, or sophisticated Boards

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the CEO to translate strategic priorities into clear, executable project plans with defined milestones, owners, and timelines
  • Oversee cross-functional initiatives on behalf of the CEO, ensuring progress tracking, accountability, and timely resolution of issues
  • Prepare board materials including memos and support coordination of board meetings and follow-up
  • Assist with executive communications by drafting, reviewing, and refining internal and external messages, leadership updates, and strategic announcements
  • Oversee the company’s leadership calendar to ensure alignment between meetings, priorities, and strategic objectives
  • Manage the CEO’s schedule with a focus on leverage, preparation, and proactive planning
  • Act as a connector across departments to improve communication, alignment, and execution at the executive level
  • Support leadership team operating rhythms, including meeting cadence, goal tracking, and accountability structures
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and exercise sound judgment in all interactions
