About The Position

Alpaca Health is the operating system for autism care. We help clinicians start, run, and scale their own practices — handling the operational complexity that gets in the way of care so they can focus on kids. The incumbents in this space are genuinely terrible. Clinicians are running their businesses on spreadsheets, outdated EHRs, and duct tape. We replace all of that: billing, payroll, scheduling, clinical documentation, parent communication — one platform, built right, from the ground up. It's working. We went from zero to $2M in revenue in 8 months, closed a $10M Series A, and we're growing 30% month over month — serving hundreds of autistic children across hundreds of clinics. Every week, more clinicians choose Alpaca to build their practice on. The platform needs to mature to match that growth — and that's where you come in. The role You’ll be the force multiplier for the founders — embedding across strategy, operations, recruiting, and special projects. One week, you’re mapping the company’s OKRs into execution plans. The next, you’re hiring critical roles, fixing a broken process, or helping shape the next fundraising narrative. This isn’t a “chief of staff” role in name only. It’s true ownership. You’ll touch every part of the business, drive decisions forward, and ensure nothing important falls through the cracks.

  • You’ve already proven yourself in a demanding environment — consulting, finance, tech, or a fast‑growth startup.
  • You’re analytical, relentless, and happiest when the bar is high.
  • You combine polish with scrappiness, curiosity with output, and thrive in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

  • Company operations. Translate priorities into motion. Track projects, unblock teams, and keep the organization aligned.
  • Founder leverage. Anticipate needs, take meetings, refine presentations, and handle follow‑through.
  • Hiring and culture. Own recruiting pipelines, onboarding systems, and operational rhythms as the team scales.
  • Special projects. From pricing experiments to investor prep to clinical ops deep dives — you’ll be wherever the hardest problems live.
  • Strategic clarity. Help turn chaos into structure, decisions into action, and ideas into execution.
