Chief of Staff

RayconNew York, NY
2d$100,000 - $165,000Hybrid

About The Position

We’re on a mission to make Raycon the most loved electronics brand in the world where every product feels joyful, effortless, and personal. We believe tech should empower, not frustrate. We’re hiring a Chief of Staff to amplify the impact of our CEO and executive team. This role is a force multiplier to the CEO and a unifying operator across the senior leadership team. The Chief of Staff exists to increase speed, clarity, and execution quality across Raycon by owning people processes, operating rhythms, and strategic follow-through, often independently and without being asked. You will be evaluated not on activity, but on leverage and outcomes. Raycon is scaling from a high-growth startup to a global brand. We need a Chief of Staff who thrives in fast-paced, high-expectation environments and can help define and enforce the business operating system that supports our growth. This is a career-defining opportunity to work at the heart of the business, influence key decisions, and drive strategic momentum.

Requirements

  • You’re energized by ambiguity and love turning chaos into clarity
  • You have experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with measurable results
  • You’re deeply analytical and systems-oriented but practical and grounded
  • You thrive working with executives and can influence without authority
  • You believe in customer-first thinking even when behind the scenes
  • You embrace the reality of high-ownership roles: when priorities demand extra time or weekend effort, you step up without resistance and take pride in delivering results
  • Strong time management, fast follow-through, and high responsiveness are required
  • Maintain sharp time management and high responsiveness
  • Optimize how the CEO’s time and energy is spent
  • Prioritize workstreams and metrics that drive results, not noise
  • Lead initiatives across HR, recruiting, interdepartmental collaboration, and workflow automation
  • Provide and receive unfiltered, thoughtful feedback

Responsibilities

  • Act as a true extension of the CEO by prioritizing, structuring, and executing strategic initiatives while maximizing the CEO’s time, focus, and energy
  • Anticipate needs, surface risks, and drive follow-through
  • Actively optimize people, processes, and systems across the business, particularly in HR, recruiting, and cross-department collaboration
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve people and operating processes, with a strong emphasis on HR, recruiting, and leadership workflows
  • Drive adoption of tools, AI automations, and systems (e.g., workflow automation, documentation, internal tooling) that materially improve efficiency and clarity
  • Facilitate weekly executive meetings, quarterly planning, and ongoing accountability against priorities
  • Own internal communications, board prep, investor updates, and high-stakes executive materials
  • Identify organizational blockers and inefficiencies and act on them with urgency and sound judgment
  • Deliver direct, thoughtful feedback and apply feedback immediately when received
  • Lead recruiting directly for priority roles and support broader org design and scaling efforts

Benefits

  • 50% team discount on Raycon products
  • $1,500 annual L&D stipend + $200 for cultural events
  • Monthly team lunch, snack budget, March Madness bracket
