About The Position

We’re looking for a high-impact Chief of Staff to our CEO - someone who thrives at the center of the action and knows how to turn big ideas into real momentum. In this role, you’ll partner closely with our CEO and executive team to drive company priorities, strengthen cross-functional alignment, and help shape where TaskUs goes next. This is a high-visibility, high-trust role for someone who blends sharp analytical thinking with strong business judgment and exceptional emotional intelligence. You’ll act as a true force multiplier for the CEO - bringing clarity to complexity, coordinating high-stakes initiatives, and helping the leadership team make smart, timely decisions. If you love connecting dots, creating structure out of ambiguity, and making meaningful impact at scale, this role is for you.

Requirements

  • Radically organized — you consistently hit deadlines, respect budgets, and somehow keep ten plates spinning without dropping any
  • A clear, confident communicator — strong business writing, crisp verbal delivery, and the ability to say the hard things with clarity and care
  • A natural leader and collaborator — you influence without ego and bring cross-functional teams together to get real work done
  • Extreme ownership — if it’s on your plate, it’s done, even when you’re juggling multiple priorities at once
  • Professional, positive, and people-savvy — you show up with warmth, polish, and strong judgment in every interaction
  • Calm in the chaos — able to prioritize competing demands, stay detail-oriented, and keep things moving when everything feels urgent
  • Creative and resourceful problem-solver — you ask great questions, dig into the data, connect dots quickly, and find smart paths forward
  • 10+ years in fast-moving environments (strategy, consulting, ops, or high-growth); experience supporting a founder/CEO is a big plus
  • Thrives in ambiguity — you move fast, lead cross-functional work, and don’t need hand-holding
  • Creative, curious, and forward-thinking — you challenge the status quo and look for smarter ways to get things done
  • Executive-level communicator — strong presence, high EQ, and the discretion to handle sensitive topics with care
  • Exceptionally organized — you manage priorities, projects, and details without losing sight of the big picture
  • Systems thinker + problem solver — you connect dots quickly and operate well in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced culture
  • Low ego, high emotional intelligence — coachable, mature, and trusted with confidential matters
  • Remote-ready — effective leading and collaborating across time zones with clarity and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Be the CEO’s right hand (and sometimes left brain) — partnering closely to translate big, bold ideas into clear priorities, real plans, and actual results
  • Lead the Executive Team cadence — from weekly executive meetings, to monthly all hands, to quarterly strategy sessions, you will be in charge of coordinating across departments to pull together presentations, minutes and actions items
  • Run the engine of the business — keeping day-to-day operations humming so teams stay focused, outcomes are met, and chaos is kept to a tasteful minimum
  • Connect dots across the org — acting as a trusted bridge between senior leaders and teams, driving cross-functional initiatives from “great idea” to “nailed it”
  • Own complex, high-stakes projects — leading programs and special initiatives end-to-end, sweating the details so nothing slips through the cracks (ever)
  • Keep leaders accountable (with heart) — preparing for and leading key meetings that move work forward, create clarity, and drive follow-through
  • Turn meetings into momentum — facilitating sessions, capturing the real takeaways, sending crisp recaps, tracking action items, and ensuring nothing dies in a Google Doc
  • Build smarter ways of working — designing and rolling out best practices that streamline workflows, eliminate friction, and make work feel… dare we say… delightful
  • Maximize time, talent, and energy — helping teams focus on what matters most, hit timelines, and deliver measurable outcomes without burnout
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner — helping the CEO prioritize decisions, manage time, prep materials, pressure-test ideas, and think three steps ahead
  • Be in the room when it matters — joining select meetings to synthesize insights, connect threads, and ensure follow-up actually happens
  • Jump into whatever needs an owner — because the best Chiefs of Staff see gaps, raise their hand, and make things better (even when it’s not “in the job description”)
  • Operate with exceptional emotional intelligence — reading the room, understanding context, navigating nuance, and adjusting your approach based on people, timing, and impact
