About The Position

Chief of Staff & Portfolio Manager The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Chief of Staff & Portfolio Manager with extensive experience supporting senior leadership within the Department of War (DoW), Joint Staff, or Service-level staff offices. In this role, you will utilize your experience managing teams and portfolios made up of many short and long-term projects, developing executive-level briefings and deliverables, and producing high-quality written products that effectively communicate complex information. This is a pivotal role that supports critical defense operations and strategic decision-making at the highest levels. What You’ll Work On: Partner with senior leadership to plan, coordinate, and execute strategic initiatives and mission priorities. Develop and deliver high-impact written products, information papers, and briefings tailored for executive audiences. Monitor progress and provide oversight on multi-phase projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and deadlines. Facilitate communication and collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders. Maintain accountability for timely completion of assignments and provide regular status updates to leadership. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working for the DoD, Joint Staff, or a Service-level staff office
  • Experience developing deliverables such as executive-level briefings, information papers, and presentations
  • Ability to evaluate and oversee project execution across near-term, mid-term, and long-term assignments
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
