As Chief of Staff, Network you will serve as a crucial strategic partner to the Chief Network Officer, playing a key role in aligning and optimizing operations across the Network Organization. You will be responsible for designing and implementing effective managerial structures, strategic initiatives, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, overseeing operational performance, establishing efficient meeting cadences, and developing impactful presentations for executive leadership. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Representation: Ability to stand in for the Chief Network Officer in meetings, presenting ChenMed's strategic vision and operational updates effectively. Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strong project management capabilities to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient execution. Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Humble yet assertive; capable of speaking up in strategic discussions while fostering collaboration across departments. Financial Acumen: Experience in developing financial plans, managing budgets, and driving financial stewardship within healthcare operations. Cross-Functional Coordination: Proven track record of coordinating between various departments (e.g., community nursing, clinical strategy, specialty network management, utilization management) to achieve organizational objectives. Data-Driven Decision Making: Skilled in creating and maintaining dashboards to track success metrics, with data to inform strategic decisions/drive performance improvements. Managed Care Experience: Background in managed care with understanding of healthcare delivery systems, payer dynamics, and value-based care models. The ideal candidate should possess a background understanding of healthcare delivery systems, payer dynamics, and value-based care models. Specifically, they should have direct experience in managing or coordinating care for specialists, skilled nursing facilities, or other healthcare providers outside the primary care setting. This may include experience in: Managing projects or initiatives that involve specialists or post-acute care providers. Developing and implementing care models that integrate specialty care services. Analyzing and optimizing the performance of specialty care networks. Collaborating with specialists and other non-primary care providers to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs. Navigating the complexities of value-based care arrangements with specialists and other healthcare stakeholders. Ability to understand and manage the nuances of specialty care will be essential in driving strategic initiatives and improving overall network performance. Influence and Change Management: Experience in influencing specialist behavior and driving changes that align with organizational goals and improve patient outcomes. A strong ability to actively drive operational movement and improvements across the organization. This includes: Proactively identifying areas for operational enhancement and leading initiatives to address these opportunities. Driving cross-functional collaboration and alignment to achieve strategic objectives, leveraging influence to overcome barriers and foster a culture of excellence. Developing and implementing operational strategies that require coordination and buy-in from multiple internal stakeholders. Championing data-driven decision-making and using analytics to inform operational improvements. Demonstrating a results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving tangible outcomes and metrics-driven success Executive Support & Communication: Develop and deliver high-quality presentations for board meetings and other executive-level communications, effectively conveying key performance indicators, strategic updates, and recommendations. Proactively identify and analyze gaps in deliverables, network goals, and cross-functional collaboration, recommending and implementing solutions to address these gaps. Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the Chief Network Officer, providing insights, recommendations, and support on key initiatives and strategic priorities. Monitor and track progress towards network goals and objectives, providing regular updates to the CNO and other stakeholders.
