About The Position

With over 13,000 employees in 475+ offices throughout North America, HUB has grown substantially, in part due to our industry leading success in Mergers and Acquisitions. The CMO will develop and execute a strategic plan to maximize revenue growth through carrier relationships and commission structures aligned with regional business strategy and local market opportunities, while managing the marketing process and educating Producers and Account Managers on product offerings. In addition, this position leads the Private Client team, overseeing all aspects of client relationships including stewardship and new business, financial management, revenue growth, and profitability alongside the President of PL.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an annual statewide stewardship plan
  • Support Advisers and Account Managers with guidance and customer service issues
  • Resolve escalated issues by conferring with staff, internal departments, and clients as needed
  • Provide consultative advice to clients on personal risk management solutions based on individual needs
  • Build and manage carrier relationships; identify new product opportunities, introduce product enhancements to the marketplace, and advise corporate management on local market trends and conditions
  • Develop enhanced commission arrangements and assist with contingent commission budget to drive revenue growth
  • Evaluate carrier agreements during acquisitions and merger due diligence to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities
  • Engage strategically on large or high-priority cases and deploy specialty services to win and retain business
  • Represent HUB positively at meetings, seminars, trade shows, and networking events
  • Assist with integration of new acquisitions
  • Develop processes that increase efficiencies and reduce costs
  • Ensure integrated business, sales, and marketing plans are implemented and monitored to meet or exceed sales, retention, and profit goals
  • Make accurate, timely decisions in accordance with established standards and EPIC workflows
  • Champion accountability, entrepreneurial action, and adaptability to changing business demands
  • Measure results against goals and implement necessary improvements
  • Direct all activities of the account management and marketing teams for Private Client
  • Manage, coach, and develop team members and support staff
