Chief Marketing Officer

Spanish Schoolhouse LLCDallas, TX

About The Position

Spanish Schoolhouse is seeking a bold, data-driven Chief Marketing Officer to lead our next chapter of growth. We're the nation’s largest chain of Spanish immersion preschools with a proven model, a passionate brand, and a mission that matters — and we need a visionary leader to help even more families discover us. This is a rare opportunity to own the full marketing and enrollment engine at a mission-driven company. You'll report directly to the President & CEO, lead a high-performing team, and have genuine strategic influence on where this brand goes next. Spanish Schoolhouse provides a total Spanish immersion environment for young children, giving families the gift of a second language at the most critical stage of brain development. Our schools serve aspirational and affluent families — including Hispanic families (Spanish-speaking and non-Spanish-speaking) and general market parents who want the very best start for their children. We believe that language opens doors — and our families believe it too. That shared conviction creates a deeply loyal, highly engaged parent community. Your job is to reach more families just like them. As CMO, you'll own the entire enrollment funnel — from brand awareness to signed enrollment agreement — and build the strategy, team, and systems to hit ambitious growth targets. You're a seasoned marketing leader with a track record of driving consumer growth — and you know how to inspire the people around you as much as you know how to move the numbers. You think at a strategic executive level, act decisively even when information is ambiguous, and build genuine loyalty from the team.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of marketing experience, including 3+ years at the CMO, VP of Marketing, or equivalent senior leadership level
  • Demonstrated results driving consumer enrollment, customer acquisition, or comparable growth metrics — with real numbers to back it up
  • Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and digital marketing analytics tools
  • A strategic thinker who connects marketing decisions to business outcomes and builds plans that actually get executed
  • An independent decision-maker — comfortable making a confident call with limited data and adjusting as you learn
  • A cross-functional leader who earns trust, navigates complexity, and brings people along
  • Deeply empathetic to aspirational parents — especially Hispanic and multicultural moms — and what drives their decision-making
  • Data-fluent: you know your conversion rates, you watch your CAC, and you let the numbers guide your next move
  • An inspiring, high-EQ leader who brings out the best in others and makes people want to follow

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing to multicultural audiences, particularly Hispanic consumers
  • Consumer marketing experience targeting parents and/or families
  • Background in multi-location, franchise, or growth-stage companies
  • Bilingual / Bicultural (Spanish language)

Responsibilities

  • Own enrollment growth — retain current families, replace graduate attrition, and drive new enrollment across all corporate schools
  • Lead multi-channel lead generation — digital, paid social, organic, print, community events, and referrals — and maintain a strong lead-to-enrollment conversion rate
  • Manage the marketing budget with full P&L accountability, optimizing spend across channels for maximum return
  • Own CRM integrity and analytics — ensure accurate data capture, interpret funnel performance, and act quickly on what the data tells you
  • Build and inspire a team of enrollment specialists and customer service professionals; align talent to task and develop people to their potential
  • Ensure brand consistency across all channels and schools, with messaging that resonates authentically with Hispanic families and general market audiences
  • Create unforgettable school tours — the moment prospective families fall in love with SSH
  • Champion Spanish immersion at community events, with local influencers, and through compelling parent communications

Benefits

  • A meaningful mission at the intersection of early childhood education, language, and culture
  • Direct partnership with the CEO — your voice matters and your strategy shapes the company
  • A passionate, close-knit team that genuinely cares about the families we serve
  • A distinct, differentiated brand with a deeply loyal parent community
  • Real growth ahead — we're building something special and want the right leader in the CMO seat
