Schedule daily work tasks Preventive Maintenance : Follow and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure the hotel’s facilities and equipment are in optimal working conditions . Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify areas needing repair or maintenance. Repair and Troubleshooting : Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests, addressing issues such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs. Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems in a timely manner . Swimming Pool Upkeep and checking chemical levels of swimming pool Upkeep an d care of the pool area. Safety and Compliance : Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies, conducting safety inspections and risk assessments. Budget Management : Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective practices. Monitor expenses related to maintenance operations and control costs. Inventory Management : Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels. Submit o rder s of necessary materials and tools, maintaining relationships with vendors. Training and Development : Up to date on training of best practices, safety procedures, and hotel policies. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, repairs, and inventory. Prepare reports on maintenance activities . Collaboration with Other Departments : Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping and front- desk , to ensure seamless operations. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss facility needs and improvement opportunities. Emergency Response : Act as a key contact for emergency situations, coordinating quick and effective responses to facility-related emergencies. Ensure that emergency protocols are established and staff are trained accordingly.
