Responsible for strategic and operational leadership for the Bank’s technology function, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant systems that support business objectives. Actively oversees infrastructure, systems, and support while delivering high-quality internal service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field and a minimum of 6 years’ of IT and management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provides visible, approachable leadership for all Bank technology operations.
  • Partners with department leaders to identify workflow challenges and implement practical technology solutions that improve productivity and employee experience.
  • Ensures secure, reliable, and highly available systems, including core banking, network infrastructure, servers, endpoints, and key applications.
  • Oversees system configuration, upgrades, testing, deployments, and performance monitoring to proactively mitigate risk and minimize operational disruption.
  • Serves as escalation point for complex technical issues and vendor-related operational impacts; supports incident response and business continuity/disaster recovery planning.
  • Enforces disciplined change management practices aligned with operational agility and regulatory expectations.
  • Collaborates with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to support the Bank’s Information Security Program.
  • Develops and manages the IT budget and strategic technology plan, balancing modernization, cost-effectiveness, usability, and risk management.
  • Identifies opportunities for automation and workflow optimization to increase efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Leads and develops technology managers and staff, establishing clear priorities, performance standards, accountability, and service expectations.
  • Monitors staffing, workload, and service levels to ensure responsive and professional internal support.
  • Exercises sound judgment in a high-demand environment, reprioritizing as needed to address operational issues and business needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
