About The Position

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a key member of the YNHS Executive Leadership Team, and responsible for technical access and security levels for the organization. This role leads the Information Technology Department, monitors system advances and makes recommendations to administrative staff regarding use of technology to increase efficiencies at YNHS. The CIO serves as the primary liaison between outside vendors and operations, ensuring that systems are updated across the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree.
Three years experience in computer network management.
Experience with pc and unix based systems required.

Responsibilities

Oversee and maintain computer access and security levels for all staff with system access.
Add, remove, and edit system access for new and terminated employees.
Provide computer training of network services to staff as requested.
Assist in retrieval of electronic information by developing systems to extract data for reporting and analysis.
Make recommendations to administrative staff regarding hardware and software needs of the organization.
Monitor technological advances and make recommendations to administrative staff regarding use of technology to increase efficiencies at YNHS.
Monitor staff business processes and make recommendations regarding use of technology to improve patient flow.
Trouble-shoot individual computer problems and system problems.
Serve as primary contact for software and hardware vendors to update and monitor clinic system.
Assist in maintenance and troubleshooting of YNHS equipment such as telephones, cash registers, fax machines, etc.
Represent YNHS in local meetings as requested.
Maintain, organized, clean, efficient and confidential work area.
Perform related work as requested.
