About The Position

This role provides executive leadership for IT operations, internal technology teams, and external technology partners. The CIO collaborates closely with executive leadership and operational stakeholders across the organization. Core Accountabilities Define and execute the organization’s technology and information systems strategy in alignment with business objectives. Oversee internal IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, systems, and support functions. Lead, mentor, and develop IT staff while ensuring accountability, performance, and clear priorities. Manage and evaluate third-party technology vendors and strategic IT partnerships. Design, maintain, and enhance scalable, secure, and reliable technology architecture and infrastructure. Oversee cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and data protection across all systems and locations. Partner with executive leadership and operational teams to identify technology solutions that improve efficiency and performance. Lead technology-related projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Develop and manage IT budgets, ensuring responsible resource allocation and cost control. Stay current on emerging technologies and assess their relevance and potential value to the organization. Support business continuity, system reliability, and operational uptime across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Significant experience in senior IT leadership roles (CIO, CTO, or equivalent), preferably within complex, multi-location environments.
  • Strong technical background including infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and data management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing both internal IT teams and external vendors or managed service providers.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology initiatives to operational and financial goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
