About The Position

The Chief Information Officer will develop, plan, and implement an information technology (IT) strategy that meets the company’s business needs, delivers optimal return on investment, and maintains utmost security. Serves as member of executive team and takes part in long-term business growth strategizing.

Requirements

BSc/BA in computer science, engineering or relevant field; MSc/MA preferred.
Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation.
Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations.
Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
A strong strategic and business mindset.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with members of the executive team to identify ways IT can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals.
Selects and implements suitable technology to streamline internal operations and optimize strategic benefits.
Ensures that IT and network infrastructure adequately support the company’s computing, data processing, and communications needs.
Analyze the costs, value, and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.
Establishes long-term IT needs and plans and develops strategies for developing systems and acquiring software and hardware necessary to meet those needs.
Establishes and maintains relationships with technology vendors and negotiates services and contracts.
Ensures adherence to government regulations and guidelines for technological systems and safeguarding of data.
Develops and implements the IT budget.
Manages IT staff and makes sure internal and external user needs are being met.
Communicates goals, projects, and timelines of the company to the department.
Performs other related duties as assigned by Manager.
