Position Summary The position is a blended role of a Chief Data Officer CDO (leveraging data as a strategic asset to drive business decisions) and a Chief Information Officer CIO (overseeing the technology infrastructure—IT systems, digital strategy). Collectively responsible for setting and executing the company’s technology strategy to support business growth and operational efficiency. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution, including internal IT infrastructure migration, AI-driven analytics, financial systems optimization, and enterprise platform implementation (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central). The CIO/CDO will work closely with executive leadership, finance, and operations teams to ensure technology enables data-driven decision-making, secure operations, and scalable growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role (CIO, CDO, CTO, VP of Technology, Head of IT, or similar).
  • Strong background in Data Analytics, AI Implementation, IT infrastructure, systems migration, and enterprise platforms.
  • Experience deploying AI or machine learning solutions in finance or operations.
  • Hands-on experience with: Python or comparable data tools (automation, analytics, integrations)
  • Data Analytics (financial modeling, communicating insights, dashboards)
  • Power BI Reporting
  • Accounting or financial analytics
  • Experience in implementing or managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Ability to bridge technical execution with business strategy.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Equivalent practical experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision and strategy for AI initiatives.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of AI models and advanced analytics solutions.
  • Ensure that data pipelines and infrastructure support AI needs.
  • Design and implement AI-driven solutions to improve decision making, forecasting, reporting, and operational insights.
  • Design and implement AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency of day-to-day activities.
  • Develop financial analytics models to enhance profitability and visibility.
  • Leverage data to support executive reporting, compliance monitoring, and performance analysis.
  • Plan and lead the migration of IT infrastructure to internally managed or hybrid environments.
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Oversee system integrations across finance, operations, and contract management platforms.
  • Lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Ensure seamless integration with accounting, reporting, and analytics workflows.
  • Define and execute the company’s overall technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Advise executive leadership on emerging technologies, AI opportunities, and digital transformation.
  • Lead technical teams, vendors, and consultants.
