About The Position

The Chief HR Officer (CHRO) is a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the human resources vision that aligns with the organization's overall business objectives. This role drives the development and implementation of innovative HR strategies that foster a high-performance culture, enhance employee engagement, and support talent acquisition and retention. The CHRO oversees all aspects of human capital management, including workforce planning, leadership development, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and compliance with employment laws. By partnering closely with executive leadership, the CHRO ensures that HR practices contribute to sustainable organizational growth and operational excellence. Ultimately, the CHRO serves as a trusted advisor to the CEO and board, championing people-centric solutions that empower employees and drive business success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including senior management roles.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing HR strategies in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations in the United States.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and influence at the executive level.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or MBA.
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR.
  • Experience working in multinational corporations or diverse industry sectors.
  • Background in digital HR transformation and leveraging HR technology platforms.
  • Experience leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support the company’s mission and business goals.
  • Lead talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning efforts to build a strong and diverse workforce.
  • Oversee employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Drive organizational development initiatives including leadership training, employee engagement programs, and culture transformation.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to align HR policies with business priorities and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Manage HR budgets and resources effectively to maximize impact and efficiency.
  • Ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks related to employment practices across all company locations.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization to foster an inclusive workplace environment.
