About The Position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will direct and oversee the financial activities of the corporation, direct preparation of current financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth. All financial staff will ultimately report to this position. The CFO will lead activities to ensure financial success across business lines. The CFO will work closely with business unit directors and managers to set financial goals and will take an active role in achieving those goals. This position is responsible for analyzing acquisition opportunities, assisting with acquisition negotiations, as well as managing the business unit accounting, audit, tax, finance, and financial reporting functions.

Requirements

This position requires a BA in accounting or related field with five or more years accounting and supervisory experience required.
Must be able to facilitate team building up and down the chain of command, change management, conflict resolution, and self-discovery.
Knowledge of accounting laws and regulations is necessary.
The ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on financial issues is required.
Effective oral and written communications and presentation skills are essential, as are interpersonal skills.
PC skills to include MS Office software, such as Excel and Word.
The ability to work with frequent, established deadlines is required.
Must be highly organized and possess good analytical and project management skills.
The ability to work effectively with diverse populations is required.
The ability to develop, plan and implement short and long-range goals is required.
