About The Position

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on </span> Chief Financial Officer</b> </span>to partner directly with the CEO and executive leadership team in scaling a global, recurring-revenue software platform serving defense and government customers. </p> </p> This executive leader will own the company’s financial strategy, infrastructure, and capital planning as the business expands internationally. Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience within SaaS or software-first organizations.
  • Proven expertise managing ARR-driven businesses and SaaS unit economics.
  • Direct experience supporting international operations, including FX risk management and global compliance.
  • Demonstrated success leading fundraising and investor communications in venture-backed or growth-stage companies.
  • Strong knowledge of ASC 606, subscription billing models, and global entity consolidation.
  • Experience within defense, federal, or regulated software markets strongly preferred.
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial strategy for a global subscription and enterprise software business.
  • Own and optimize SaaS metrics including ARR, TCV, ACV, bookings, backlog, churn, expansion, net revenue retention (NRR), CAC, LTV, and gross margin.
  • Develop long-range financial models reflecting multi-year contracts, renewals, usage-based pricing, and international expansion.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to align pricing, packaging, and growth initiatives with financial performance.
  • Oversee international financial operations including inter company accounting, consolidation, and global reporting.
  • Manage foreign currency exposure, including FX forecasting and hedging strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with global tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing, and statutory requirements.
  • Support financial planning for international market entry and expansion.
  • Build best-in-class FP&A capabilities with multi-currency forecasting, cohort analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Deliver executive and Board-level reporting on SaaS KPIs, regional profitability, and FX impacts.
  • Ensure accurate, timely reporting in accordance with GAAP and relevant international standards.
  • Lead equity and debt fundraising initiatives.
  • Serve as primary financial liaison to investors, clearly articulating ARR growth, capital efficiency, and expansion strategy.
  • Support Board governance and long-term capital planning, including IPO-readiness where appropriate.
  • Oversee ASC 606 revenue recognition for multi-year, multi-currency software contracts.
  • Provide financial leadership for complex defense and government procurement structures.
  • Maintain strong internal controls, audit readiness, and risk management practices in regulated environments.
  • Build and lead a global finance organization spanning accounting, FP&A, and revenue operations.
  • Implement scalable systems for subscription billing, multi-currency accounting, and SaaS reporting.
  • Establish processes that balance speed, compliance, and financial discipline during rapid growth.
