About The Position

As the Chief Financial Officer, you will serve as the top Financial Officer, Business Systems/Reporting, and Compliance Specialist to ensure business goals are attained.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with 7+ years related work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products. Strong skills with Excel, Google Spreadsheets and QuickBooks online.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively via email and phone.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, with research, developing, planning and executing skills.
  • Highly process-oriented with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong math and business acumen with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving capabilities to lead process improvements, and identify gaps with actionable solutions.
  • Customer-service oriented with a proactive attitude and strong collaborative mindset.
  • Committed to continuous improvement through research, analysis, and recommending process enhancements.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills; Innovative, self-directed, with the ability to lead and manage others with ease; excellent collaboration, flexibility and adaptability are also important.
  • Dependable in handling confidential matters, working independently, and demonstrating integrity in all professional dealings.

  • Experience with Mac System and Bill.com would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Researches, plans and executes on Finance and Accounting strategies to drive the financial goals and meet the annual objectives.
  • Leads, mentors, and coaches the Accounting team to foster continual growth of skillsets and success of the team.
  • Oversees the Accounting and Financial activities ensuring accuracy, completeness of data and overall compliance.
  • Researches, leads, and executes on opportunities for automation and streamlining to enhance the overall effectiveness of the team.
  • Leads and develops forecasts and budgets to ensure financial accuracy, fiscal discipline, and alignment with strategic business objectives.
