About The Position

We’re partnering with a well-established, publicly traded community bank (~$500M in assets) to identify a Chief Financial Officer. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a key partner in driving the bank’s financial strategy and performance.
This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on finance leader within banking who wants to step into a true #2 position and play a central role in decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience within a bank or financial institution (required)
• Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting (Call Reports highly preferred)
• Experience interacting with regulators (FDIC, OCC, or Federal Reserve)
• Background in liquidity management, capital planning, and loan/deposit mix
• Proven leadership experience within accounting/finance

Nice To Haves

• CPA is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial operations including accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting
• Oversee regulatory reporting, including Call Reports and audit processes
• Partner with executive leadership and the Board on financial strategy
• Manage liquidity, capital planning, and balance sheet strategy
• Participate in ALCO and provide insight into interest rate risk and NIM
• Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal controls
