The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a strategic leader who is directly responsible for managing all financial operations and systems within the organization. This includes ensuring that all accounting and fiscal functions comply with legal and regulatory standards. The CFO oversees the administration of the organization's financial strategic plan, which includes budgeting, accounting, purchasing, payroll, grants management, auditing, internal and external reporting, cash flow management, accounts receivables management, financial planning, data analysis, revenue cycle management, value-based care, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The CFO collaborates with the chief executive officer to create the strategic plan and ensures that the financial systems and technology align with people, processes, and values that support and further the organization’s mission. The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the overall operations concerning financial matters. They model behaviors consistent with the published values and the Code of Conduct of the organization.
