About The Position

As the CFO / Head of Finance & Operations at Swayable, you will be responsible for a full range of business operations, including financial planning and analysis, financial management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, responding to investor requests, and drafting important communications about the business, such as our quarterly investor updates. You will report directly into the company Executive team (and on an interim basis, to the CEO) and work closely with them on some of the company's most important functions.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree or higher, whether in a related field, such as business or finance
At least 10 years of finance experience
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ideally including startups and/or investment funds
Demonstrated passion for startups and for creating order out of chaos
Very strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decision-making
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

The ideal candidate would have spent some time gaining operating experience at other fast-growing startups, as well as experience from an investment fund or M&A experience.

Responsibilities

Managing budgets, cashflow, and financial forecasting
Regular, detailed operational and financial analysis and reporting for the executive team
Financial modeling
Running revenue operations
Implementing and managing financials controls
Preparing regular and ad-hoc financial and operational analyses of the business, including maintaining our management financials (our working economic picture of the business) and quarterly investor updates
Overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable
Managing the company’s cap table
Analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Providing regular reports and updates to the CEO and other stakeholders
