About The Position

An aerospace company is seeking a highly experienced and confident Chief Engineer to lead engineering efforts across its U.S. and Canadian operations. This role is critical to driving technical excellence, resolving engineering challenges, and supporting business development initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience in aerospace.
• Strong background in structural and stress analysis.
• Familiarity with FEA and airworthiness analysis.
• Experience across design, sustaining, and manufacturing engineering.
• Ability to review and analyze non-conforming reports.
• US Person status for ITAR compliance.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Eligible for access to military bases.

• Current or former DER or DAR certification.
• Proven leadership and confident decision-making skills.
• Authoritative technical presence with strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review non-conformance reports and address design issues.
• Collaborate assertively with design engineering teams.
• Drive product readiness from design to production.
• Streamline in-house engineering processes.
• Contribute to proposals and customer-facing technical discussions.
• Act as a technical authority across structural, stress, and design engineering.
• Manage liaison and manufacturing engineers.
• Solve complex engineering problems.
