About The Position

The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) will lead and oversee enterprise-wide compliance and ethics programs to protect the organization’s reputation, mitigate risk, and ensure adherence to applicable laws and ethical standards. Reporting to the Board of Directors with a dotted line to the CEO, this executive role combines strategic leadership with hands-on program management across healthcare, pharma, technology, and data operations. The CCO will collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive a culture of integrity, accountability, and transparency, while continuously monitoring regulatory trends, guiding internal investigations, and enhancing compliance processes. This position offers high visibility, impact, and the opportunity to shape governance and risk strategies across a dynamic and innovative organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of compliance experience, including developing or managing compliance programs, or legal experience advising compliance organizations.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare and pharma compliance.
  • Proven experience managing and leading compliance teams.
  • Experience collaborating with Boards of Directors and senior executives.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex regulatory issues into practical compliance programs.
  • Exceptional judgment, discretion, and ethical standards.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary compliance advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors, and Audit & Compliance Committee, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive compliance and ethics program including policies, procedures, training, monitoring, and auditing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including HIPAA, FDA, Anti-Kickback, GDPR, CCPA, and Media Rating Council (MRC) standards.
  • Lead internal investigations in partnership with Legal, ensuring timely resolution and corrective actions.
  • Direct monitoring and auditing programs to identify compliance risks and recommend process improvements.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Build and lead a high-performing compliance team, fostering a culture of transparency, integrity, and accountability across the enterprise.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Operations, Legal, and other business leaders to embed compliance into organizational processes.
