About the role Job Type: Full-time The Chief Accountant owns day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for the company, serving as the senior technical accounting lead within a lean finance organization. This role is hands-on and critical to maintaining accurate books, scalable processes, and audit-ready financials as the company grows. Reporting & Org Fit Works closely with: Founders, FP&A, Operations, HR Manages: Small accounting team or external vendors (AP, payroll, tax) Core Focus Own monthly close and GAAP-compliant financial statements Maintain general ledger, reconciliations, and accounting policies Handle complex areas (revenue recognition, equity, accruals) Build and improve processes that scale with growth Support audits, investor reporting, and fundraising diligence What Makes This Role Right for Our Org Senior enough to own accuracy and judgment Hands-on enough to execute without layers Process-oriented but not bureaucratic Comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment What This Role Is Not Not a purely strategic CFO role Not a large-team people manager Not overly siloed — this role touches many functions Ideal Background 6–10+ years accounting experience Strong US GAAP knowledge (CPA preferred) Startup or high-growth company experience Comfortable building structure where none exists yet At ROGII, we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
