About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Chemical Lab & Quality Technician. This role involves hands-on work in process control, chemical analysis, quality assurance, and environmental compliance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and contribute to maintaining high standards in metal treatment and regulatory reporting.

Requirements

• Experience in chemical and environmental testing.
• Bachelor's degree within science (chemistry, biochemistry, engineering or related)

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily solution analyses and calculate necessary chemical additions.
• Monitor and report out-of-range readings and supply needs.
• Perform scheduled water and waste treatment analyses.
• Troubleshoot waste treatment issues and coordinate with maintenance.
• Schedule and document bath changes and waste pickups.
• Perform reliability tests such as salt spray and adhesion.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections and document results.
• Review specifications with Quality and Engineering teams.
• Manage customer-facing corrective actions and quality reports.
• Support internal and external audits, including compliance.
• Maintain calibration logs and issue Certificates of Compliance.
• Develop and deliver quality training materials and documentation.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
• Attend production meetings to prioritize quality issues.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and cost-of-quality reporting.
