About The Position

If you are a Chemical Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity, join Emerson’s Liquid Analysis team! Based at our Shakopee, MN location, you will join a global leader in the development and manufacturing of process analytical equipment for liquid analysis as a Chemist. This is a laboratory-based role that works within a cross-functional engineering teams to support new technology development, new product development and sustaining engineering efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related fields
  • Zero (0) years of related experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Support testing activities for new technology research, new product development and sustaining engineering.
  • Work and collaborate within cross-functional engineering team to formulate test goals and plans.
  • Execute laboratory testing, analyse data, document and communicate test results.
  • Maintain laboratory safety by safely handling chemicals and developing safe testing procedures.
  • Participate in product development reviews, quality reviews, design reviews and peer reviews.
  • Initiates routine engineering change authorizations.
