The Materials and Process Engineering (M&PE) team in Tucson, AZ plays a critical role in advancing product and process excellence through cutting-edge material development, in-process verification, and analytical services. Comprised of a group of engineers and scientists with expertise in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Metallurgy, and more, M&PE provides comprehensive support to RTX programs, suppliers, and end users. In this role, the selected candidate will primarily work on analyzing data, creating technical recommendations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate a wide range of materials including adhesives, elastomers, polymers, tapes, composites, and metals. This role will focus on evaluating how long materials or products maintain their required performance characteristics under various environmental stresses.
