About The Position

The Process Engineer Intern or Co-op will work alongside other Process Engineers to prepare drawings, calculations, and other deliverables for our clientsâ design projects. The position will also interface with team members in our other engineering disciplines to provide cohesive engineering packages to our clients.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree (or equivalent education) in Chemical Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university
Ability to work within diverse teams assembled from Nexus, clients, and others
Effective communication skills in order to convey ideas is a must
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word
Seeks feedback to improve performance

Nice To Haves

Experience with Aspen, HYSYS, ChemCAD, or other process modeling software a plus

Responsibilities

Complete calculations of limited complexity, with supervision as needed; may include hydraulics, relief devices, and equipment sizing
Develop and maintain P&IDs and PFDs
Assist experienced Process Engineers with their activities as requested
