As a Chemical Operator, you will be an integral part of operations, ensuring the safe and efficient running of facilities. The role involves gaining deep knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes and playing a critical role in maintaining safety, quality, and operational excellence. You will be a hands-on operator, learning to run a wide variety of chemical manufacturing equipment, including bagging systems, material handling, and batch and continuous process reactors. A key aspect of the role is ensuring the safety of personnel by adhering to safety-first practices and procedures such as Lockout/Tagout, confined space entry, and PPE requirements, contributing to a safety-centric culture. You will also be responsible for ensuring product quality by testing, monitoring, and adjusting production in real time using both automated (DCS/PLC) and manual systems. The position involves collaborating with the team on continuous improvement projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
