About The Position

Eichleay is seeking a Chemical Engineering Intern for their Ferndale, WA office for Summer 2026. The company operates primarily in the Western US with offices in Larkspur, CA, Orange, CA, Billings, MT, and Ferndale, WA. This part-time casual role requires in-person interactions, including events, field visits, and office-based team meetings, with a target schedule of 20 hours per week, though variable based on available work. The Engineering Internship Program is designed for emerging engineers, offering exposure to diverse project work and training through on-the-job assignments. Interns will apply engineering skills across various industries in a multidisciplinary environment, work alongside senior leadership, and develop critical skills such as communication, teamwork, collaboration, time management, and problem-solving. Eichleay, with nearly 150 years in business, specializes in the design and construction of industrial process, manufacturing, life science, and high technology facilities, valuing careers built on trusted relationships and quality work.

Requirements

• You have legal authorization to work in the United States for Eichleay without the need of sponsorship in the future.
• You are attending and currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• You have successfully completed at least 1 engineering specific course.
• You are available to start the internship program either mid-May or mid-June 2026.
• You have a minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
