About The Position

Velaspan is hiring Summer 2026 interns for several internship opportunities based in our Allentown, PA office. These 12-week internships are designed for motivated college students who want to learn by doing in a supportive, collaborative professional environment. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals and receive ongoing guidance and mentorship throughout the program.

These summer internships are ideal for motivated college students, especially those who have balanced academics with clubs, athletics, leadership roles, or service-based extracurricular activities. Whether you're coming from a technology or business curriculum, you'll gain hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and exposure to how an innovative computer systems consulting firm operates.

Velaspan, Inc. is a computer systems consulting firm specializing in wireless communications and cybersecurity solutions for businesses across a wide range of industries. Based in Allentown, PA, we help organizations design, deploy, and support critical technology solutions.

Our paid internships include real-world exposure to technology, consulting, and professional services. You will work alongside experienced professionals and receive ongoing guidance and mentorship throughout the summer, giving you hands-on, resume-building experience in a supportive, collaborative professional environment.

Requirements

• Are available to work a full-time, 12-week summer internship primarily from our Allentown, PA office between May and August 2026
• Are currently pursuing a degree in technology, business, information systems, cybersecurity, engineering, project management, or a related field
• Communicate clearly and professionally
• Are dependable, curious, and eager to learn
• Can work well independently when given direction, while also collaborating effectively with a team
• Take ownership of their work and follow through on responsibilities
• Are comfortable learning in a hands-on professional environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with wireless site surveys and data collection in real-world environments
• Work alongside experienced technicians and engineers
• Learn the fundamentals of wireless networking through hands-on field experience
• Provide internal & customer-facing technical support
• Help troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Gain experience supporting real users in a professional environment
• Assist project teams with scheduling, documentation, and coordination
• Help track tasks, timelines, cost and deliverables across active projects
• Learn how technology projects are planned and executed
• Support the sales team with research, organization, and client preparation
• Help maintain CRM data and sales documentation
• Gain insight into how technical services are positioned and sold
• Support cybersecurity initiatives and internal security operations
• Assist with monitoring, documentation, and security-related tasks
• Learn how cybersecurity supports enterprise networks and clients
