The role As a Team Lead - Receiving and Returns, you will work closely with the management team to ensure operational processes are followed by the clerk team. You will be responsible for mastering both receiving and returns functions to ensure departmental efficiency.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as a Team Lead in a fast-paced work environment.
  • 1+ years of experience in e-commerce or a high-volume operational setting.
  • Degree in Logistics, Operations Management, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Intermediate or advanced Excel skills and a high level of comfort with technology platforms.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and a commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of 10 to 20 clerks in their daily operational tasks and responsibilities.
  • Act as a resource person to emphasize quality standards and compliance with safety measures.
  • Plan and adjust daily labor hours based on the volume of tasks to be processed.
  • Meet daily performance objectives as assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
  • Monitor service levels for specific tasks and take immediate action when necessary.
  • Take ownership of complex problem-solving and handling of operational anomalies.
  • Train new incoming clerks on the daily operational processes under your responsibility.
  • Identify high-potential clerks and provide training and development opportunities for them.
  • Act as a bridge between the warehouse and other departments to manage exceptional cases.
  • Promote employee engagement and actively recognize the achievements of your team.
