About The Position

The purpose of the inbound freight and bulk coordinator is to ensure the timely flow of inbound goods, and communicate arrivals of goods to production, warehouse, and sales teams. This position will require effective communication with internal teams, as well as with freight and vendor partners and will be responsible for arranging and scheduling all inbound freight. This position will also be responsible for monitoring inventories and ensuring consistency in stock levels across the organization.

Requirements

• Must be self-motivated with good organizational skills
• Good computer skills including typing and using email
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Must be able to switch gears quickly while completing tasks
• Demonstrate ability to work and communicate with all levels of the organization
• Strong attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office with specific attention to Word, Excel, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in inventory analysis or freight preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow and arrange freight of all inbound goods
• Monitor inventories and purchase orders and ensure that inbound goods arrive in a timely manner, as per the requested date on purchase orders or as the needs of the business require
• Keep and maintain a tracking sheet of out of stocks and expected recovery dates
• Update ERP system with proper arrival dates so production, sales, and warehouse teams can plan accordingly
• Communicate out of stocks and inbound dates to the organization including but not limited to the production team for product scheduling, the warehouse team for scheduling, and the sales/customer service team for customer communication
