CHARGE NURSE- Registered Nurse (RN) - 9AE Med/Surg & Respiratory Winston Salem, NC, United States Where You Will Work: A 24-bed general medical unit specializing in Respiratory care with integrated Telemetry monitoring. This unit is perfect for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced setting, enjoy variety, and want to build expertise in respiratory and telemetry care. A diverse mix of medical and surgical patients, including those transitioning from critical care. As a skilled Charge RN, you will be delivering exceptional nursing care to patients, we seamlessly integrate the nursing process – from comprehensive assessment to meticulous planning, skillful implementation, and diligent evaluation. Our unit is a dynamic hub where skilled nurses take the helm, expertly leading their teams and fostering collaborative partnerships with a diverse range of healthcare professionals, all dedicated to providing the highest standards of age-appropriate and developmentally sensitive patient care. Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, located in Winston-Salem, NC, is a key part of our nationally recognized academic health system. Our 885-bed tertiary care hospital houses the region’s only children’s hospital, burn center, and Level I adult and pediatric trauma centers. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

  • We provide patient-centered care, addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs. This includes assessment, nursing diagnoses, planning, intervention, coordination, education, and outcome evaluation, all aligned with WFBMC policies.
