About The Position

Are you a compassionate nursing professional dedicated to helping children heal and thrive? Camber Children’s Mental Health is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) to join our caring, multidisciplinary team. In this vital role, you will provide direct patient care, lead and mentor staff, and ensure a safe, supportive environment for children and adolescents receiving mental health treatment.

Requirements

• Associates degree in nursing required. BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas
• At least 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience or ANCC certification in psychiatric nursin
• Must be at least 20 years old to apply.
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate patient care activities on your assigned shift
• Lead and mentor licensed and non-licensed nursing staff
• Participate in staff development and performance evaluation
• Provide direct, compassionate care to children and adolescents
• Represent management and administration in their absence
• Monitor program safety and lead crisis response as needed

Benefits

• Starting Pay: $32.50–$37.00 per hour, based on experience and education
• $2,500 Sign-On Bonus paid in four installments during your first year
• Shift Differentials: +$3.00/hour for weekday evenings/overnights, +$5.00/hour for weekend evenings/overnights
