About The Position
The Harrison at Heritage is seeking full-time Charge Nurses for their Skilled Nursing facility in Fort Worth, TX. The positions are for the 10-6a. shift and Double Weekends. The role involves participating in and overseeing patient care within the scope of LVN/LPN licensure, observing and reporting patient conditions, documenting in EMR, ensuring care plan implementation, administering medications and treatments, and supervising CNA staff.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School
- Valid LVN/LPN - Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse License
Responsibilities
- Participate in and oversee patient care within the scope of the LVN/LPN licensure.
- Observe, assess, and report Patient conditions/changes and document in accordance with Cantex’s Clinical Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines & regulations.
- Perform EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices.
- Ensure implementation of care plans as directed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Participate in assigning duties and supervise the delivery of appropriate clinical care by the CNA staff to ensure highest practical well-being is maintained by patient.
