About The Position

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Charge/Lead Housekeeper who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Charge/Lead Housekeeper, you will: Interact daily with patients, public and employees to receive and/or provide information. Assists management team with supervision of the housekeeping staff. Assist with department QI initiates. Participate in appropriate housekeeping processes and procedures. Maintain departmental housekeeping supplies. Communicate any issues in a manner consistent with our values. Provide a clean environment for all patients, public and employees at Shady Grove Adventist Healthcare. Access to Non-Pharmacy medication areas in accordance with the Policy#101-01-180 Security of Medications in Non-Pharmacy Areas. Ensure infection control protocols are followed in daily cleans, discharges/transfers and ancillary areas, by following our Eight Step Cleaning Procedures.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of housekeeping experience in either a housekeeping or hospitality environment.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year of team lead experience preferred.
