About The Position

Each position employed with CYO Camps helps to extend the ministry of the Archbishop in particular ways as outlined in the position description. To assist in implementing the camp's challenge curriculum

Requirements

• A good example for youth.
• Low ropes experience
• Working with ropes
• Commitment to the mission and values of CYO.
• Ability to work under pressure in time constraints.
• Must be able to lift/move course elements.
• Current CPR/First Aid
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• At the beginning of the season and each challenge session inspects all equipment for usability
• Successfully completes our site-specific ACCT challenge training
• Follows and enforces established safety criteria at the course
• Follows all policies and procedures for the course outlined in the course handbook.
• Knows or learns ground-based challenge games.
• Willingness to pitch in with other general camp duties when needed, like moving luggage, and cleaning areas other than the kitchen and dining hall.
