About The Position

Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions: 1. Attend and be prepared to support course content and assigned instructors in every class. 2. Assist instructor with in-class activities, including proctoring examinations. 3. Observe student performance and record relevant data to aid assigned in 4. Classroom support 5. Hold face-to-face office hours on a regular basis to support learners academically. 6. Coordinate study groups outside of class to tutor students on class material. 7. May facilitate additional workshops as a refresher to classroom formal lecture. 8. Proctor occasional make up examinations/assignments. Communicate with assigned instructor on a regular basis. 9. Check assigned my.gcu.edu email and Halo Learn digital classroom forums regularly. 10. Demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior congruent with GCU’s pillars and mission with a commitment to Christian ideals and philosophy. 11. Other duties as assigned Equipment Used and Responsibility MS Office Suite Halo Learn Supervisory Responsibilities None Experience/ Education Candidate must be currently enrolled and maintain full time active enrollment in GCU program and have completed significant portion of the program. Must have sufficient courses in discipline of assistance needed as well as having received a grade of B or higher in each. Must pass pre-employment background investigations.
