About The Position
Mass Eye and Ear, a nationally ranked specialty hospital affiliated with Harvard, is seeking full-time and part-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its mission-driven team. This role involves providing continuous anesthesia assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient care under the direction of a physician. The hospital specializes in complex ENT, ophthalmology, and head and neck surgeries, including high-acuity cases, difficult airways, and fragile pediatric patients (NICU and PICU). The position offers a dynamic clinical environment across campuses, a tight-knit team culture, and opportunities for teaching and academic involvement.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and School of Nurse Anesthesia
- Current Massachusetts RN license
- Certification or re-certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Current Massachusetts Board of Nursing Expanded Role Certification
- Good oral and written communication skills and leadership qualities
- ACLS/PALS Certification
Nice To Haves
- BA or BSN in Nursing
- Membership in professional nursing organization desired
Responsibilities
- Provide general and regional anesthesia for complex ENT and eye surgeries
- Manage high-risk airways and unique anatomy with confidence
- Collaborate with expert surgical and perioperative teams
- Contribute to education and innovation, if desired
