About The Position

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a CRNA to join their Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) teams. This position is for their St. Louis Park surgery center location, where they provide care for patients ages 10 months to 99+ across 4 Same Day Surgery Centers and 12 operating rooms, with plans for growth. Patients must meet strict criteria for the Ambulatory setting. The role involves performing anesthesia for various surgical specialties including orthopedic, vascular, plastics, ENT, general, GYN, eye, urology, one level spine, and laparoscopic cases. The Same Day Centers offer a varied and fast-paced environment. CRNAs at Park Nicollet work collaboratively with anesthesiologists and are considered a valued, empowered, and respected part of the team. The CRNA is responsible for administering safe analgesia and anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist or physician, providing resuscitation services throughout the hospital, and demonstrating awareness of PNHS and departmental objectives while participating in their attainment.

Requirements

  • Graduate from a School of Nursing and from a School of Anesthesia
  • Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Minnesota
  • Certification by the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or Board eligible if new hire
  • Fulfill credentialing requirements, following the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) guidelines
  • Effective communication skills
  • Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
  • BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in anesthesia or related-field preferred
  • Participates in one’s professional organization (desirable)
  • Computer keyboarding (desirable)

Responsibilities
