Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Per-Diem, Ambulatory Surgery Center
About The Position
Park Nicollet is looking to hire a CRNA to join their Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) teams. This role is an opportunity to be a Partner for Good and contribute to the care and experience of patients and their families. The position is with an incredible team of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) at the Burnsville surgery center location. The centers provide care for patients ages 10 months to 99+ across 4 Same Day Surgery Centers and 12 operating rooms, with plans for growth. Patients must meet strict criteria for the Ambulatory setting. Anesthesia is performed for various surgical specialties including orthopedic, vascular, plastics, ENT, general, GYN, eye, urology, one level spine, and laparoscopic cases. The Same Day Centers offer a variety of cases and a fast-paced environment. At Park Nicollet, CRNAs work in collaboration with anesthesiologists and are a valued, empowered, and respected part of the team.
Requirements
- Graduate from a School of Nursing and from a School of Anesthesia
- Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Minnesota
- Certification by the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or Board eligible if new hire
- Fulfill credentialing requirements
- This position requires credentialing, following the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) guidelines
- Effective communication skills
- Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
- BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in anesthesia or related-field preferred
- Participates in one’s professional organization (desirable)
- Computer keyboarding (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Administer safe analgesia and anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist or physician
- Provide resuscitation services throughout the hospital
- Demonstrate an awareness of the objectives of PNHS and the department and participate in attaining those goals
