About The Position

This role supports meaningful, individualized therapy for students, helping them develop the skills needed to succeed in school and life. Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT), the assistant will help with treatment programs, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and maintain documentation to track and celebrate student progress. The position combines hands-on clinical support with compassionate connection and teamwork.

Requirements

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Nice To Haves

• Experience in school or pediatric clinical settings with children facing learning or social-emotional challenges
• Familiarity with IEPs, treatment planning, and behavior interventions
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and data documentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based, mission-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering individualized treatment programs for students based on their IEPs or medical plans
• Collaborate with the OT and interdisciplinary team to implement goals and accommodations
• Support and follow guidance from the supervising OT for therapy sessions and interventions
• Conduct data collection and assist with initial and ongoing assessments
• Help complete annual and triennial reviews under OT supervision
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation and provide progress updates to the OT and team
