About The Position

This role supports meaningful, individualized therapy for students, helping them develop the skills needed to succeed in school and life. Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT), the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will assist with treatment programs, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and maintain documentation to track and celebrate student progress. The position combines hands-on clinical support with compassionate connection and teamwork.

Requirements

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Nice To Haves

• Experience in school or pediatric clinical settings with children facing learning or social-emotional challenges
• Familiarity with IEPs, treatment planning, and behavior interventions
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and data documentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based, mission-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering individualized treatment programs for students based on their IEPs or medical plans
• Collaborate with the OT and interdisciplinary team to implement goals and accommodations
• Support and follow guidance from the supervising OT for therapy sessions and interventions
• Conduct data collection and assist with initial and ongoing assessments
• Help complete annual and triennial reviews under OT supervision
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation and provide progress updates to the OT and team
