About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Medication Technician to join a healthcare team in a long-term care setting. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide both direct and indirect patient care, ensuring a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for residents.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification on the Maine State Registry
- CNA-M (Medication Technician) coursework must be listed on CNA certification
- Minimum 1 year of CNA experience required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- No licensure issues
Responsibilities
- Administer medications via oral, topical, vaginal, rectal routes, and inhalation
- Accurately document medications administered, refused, or omitted
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, mobility, and meals
- Monitor and support patient comfort, safety, and well-being
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain a clean and organized care environment
