Requirements

  • Applicants should have a current Virginia state Certified Nursing Assistant License and a current Virginia state Medication Aide license.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification required within 60 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • CNA and Medication Aide experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administers and documents medications per physician orders, monitors effectiveness, ensures proper storage and accountability, and complies with all policies and regulations.
  • Assists with resident care throughout nursing areas under the direction of licensed personnel, including but not limited to ADLs (activities of daily living), feeding, elimination needs, and grooming.
  • Answers resident alarm pendants and responds to resident needs appropriately and promptly.
