About The Position

We are hiring dedicated, compassionate Nurse Aides, CNAs, and Caregivers to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters in a convent home environment in Enfield, CT. There are multiple open positions for casual/per diem CNAs/Nurse Aides on afternoons (1:45 pm - 10:15 pm) and overnights (9:45 pm - 6:15 am). The hourly pay rate for this position is $17.25 - $23.50 for Nurse Aides and CNAs. Wages/pay rate will be determined based on factors such as CNA certification, the candidate's relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state in which the health services are located is a PLUS but not required.
- Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Our Nurse Aide / CNA / Caregiver provides direct care to elder Franciscan sisters, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care.
- Our Nurse aides are responsible for documenting care for our sisters as required and communicating with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure resident quality care.
- This position also assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.
