Requirements

  • Certified Medication Technician
  • Ability to work 6:30a-3p/3p-11p shifts
  • Every Other Weekend Rotation required

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state regulations
  • Accurately document medication administration and promptly report errors, refusals, or adverse reactions
  • Observe residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns to nursing leadership
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting dignity and independence
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and security of medications at all times
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team under the direction of the Director of Nursing
  • Provide compassionate, patient‑centered care that supports comfort, safety, and quality of life
