About The Position
At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Certified Medical Assistants strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences in the Internal Medicine - Park Place Clinic What you can expect from this role Schedule: Full-Time: 4, 9-hour shifts per week, with days varying depending on clinic needs. Part-Time: 2-3, 9-hour shifts per week, scheduled on a Thursday or Friday is preferred. Flex: Approximately 10 hours every 2 weeks, scheduled on a Thursday or Friday , depending on clinic needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA
Responsibilities
- Conduct follow-up visits as per provider recommendations, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Perform venipunctures when needed, follow up on results, and communicate patient outcomes.
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date health records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Help manage telephone calls, telehealth, and video visits, as well as follow up with patients.
